Exciting news… Here’s a great learning opportunity for any of us who want to learn more about this web 2.0 thing.
Several leaders in our field are putting together a FREE, online, asynchronous, six-week experience to introduce learning professionals to Web 2.0. Co-sponsored by E-Learning Guild and WorkLiteracy, the events are being hosted by Harold Jarche, Michele Martin, and Tony Karrer. These are all highly respected thought leaders in this area, and I’m counting on them providing a great experience. I thought I’d do my part to get the word out.
The program begins next week and runs through November 3, and you can participate whenever and however much you like. Harold, Michele, and Tony plan to have activities for all levels of participants. While it looks like the activities are scheduled for Monday at a specific time, it’s actually primarily asynchronous.
Here are links to the invitations from the presenters; you’ll find the sign-up links there. You can also check out their blogs and profiles while you’re there.
To sign up, you need to join the Ning group. (Ning is a social networking site along the lines of LinkedIn and Facebook.) If you already have a Ning profile, you just need to join this group. Once in the site, you can check out the upcoming activities and see who else is joining in. See you there.
